Annual Sheep Shearing

Our own Merinos Sheep here at the Ranch will be sheared and then their wool will be cleaned, carded, and spun.

Blacksmith Workshops

This is the Annual Vintage Baseball Grudge Match between the Camp Creek Cloud Busters and the Colorado All-Stars.

 

Annual Folk Art Festival

Co-sponsored with the Holly Berry House Folk Art Gallery. This event benefits the Ranch's restoration projects. Handcrafted folk art, antiques, live music, quilt exhibit, and silent auction.

Blacksmith Demonstration

Sept. 20th ,  9AM to 4:30PM

 

Continuing the tradition of the first rate blacksmith

demonstrations, Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site is proud to have Alison Finn showcase her talents. Finn started blacksmithing in 1989 and now runs her own blacksmithing company in Marble, CO. She shows in her work the fascination of the how and why of traditional iron working methods. Alison has studied under the late Francis Whitaker sharing her talents across the country. 

Harvest Festival

October 4th

 

Pick out your own pumpkin, pony and wagon rides, candy scramble, and the elusive hay maze for the kids.  Barn dance for the family, gold panning, and the silent auction.

First Nations Day

October 11th

 

Celebration of Indian Diversity of North and South America.  Native dancing, and demonstration of native arts and crafts.

Everything But the Oink

November 8th, 2007

 

Cooler months are traditional from processing hogs. See sausage, soap, and mince meat making from the natural products.

Holiday Home Tours & Tea

December 5th, 6th, 18th, 19th & 20th at 11 AM and 2 PM
